iFLYTEK just held the Spark Cognitive Big Model release conference. iFLYTEK Chairman Liu Qingfeng introduced that the Spark Cognitive Big Model is an independently developed deep learning algorithm-based cognitive intelligent big model that possesses human-like understanding and generation capabilities across domains and multiple tasks. It can simulate the understanding and generation process of the human brain to natural language and can understand and process various forms of information such as speech, images, and text.
Based on this, iFLYTEK has compiled seven dimensions of general artificial intelligence: text generation, logical reasoning, language understanding, mathematical ability, coding ability, knowledge Q&A, and multi-modal ability.
iFLYTEK demonstrated the Spark Cognitive Big Model’s ability to write speeches, emails, marketing plans, and English writing with impressive results. It can even generate one-sentence speech and translate between Chinese and English, and write in the style of Xiaohongshu.
As an attempt to apply Spark Cognitive in education, iFLYTEK launched the first AI learning machine T20 series with a big model. Liu Qingfeng explained at the conference that since the end of 2022, cognitive big model technology has sparked a new wave of AI globally, and all industries are embracing significant changes and opportunities. The traditional business model that relies on long hours and human labor will be fundamentally overturned.

“The significance of artificial intelligence this time in history is no less than that of the birth of the PC or the Internet.”
The main feature of this cognitive big model is that multiple types of data can be sent to a unified cognitive intelligent big model for learning and training, and it can ultimately surprise everyone with its ability to perform in the general domain.
The sources of various types of text are also diverse and can be text, speech, images, or videos, etc. “The key issue is that after learning through this unified single-model, we will find that our system has the ability to make lateral connections like humans, and surprise us with wisdom in multiple fields,” said Liu Qingfeng.
It is understood that based on the 48 task directions initially released by ChatGPT and the demand for artificial intelligence in various application fields in the future by the developer teams on the iFLYTEK AI Open Platform, iFLYTEK ultimately proposed seven dimensions that are particularly noteworthy for general artificial intelligence. They are: text generation, language understanding, knowledge Q&A, logical reasoning, mathematical ability, coding ability, and multi-modal ability.
Liu Qingfeng outlined that every teacher would have an AI teaching assistant, and every student would have an AI learning companion. “I think that in the future, everyone should have one. This is the trend, just like a backpack. Every child should have such an electronic backpack that can protect their eyes and accompany them anytime and anywhere.”
Now, the iFLYTEK AI learning machine T20 series is the first in the industry to incorporate cognitive big models. It is not only a product innovation but also another significant breakthrough of iFLYTEK’s artificial intelligence technology in the field of education.
