Zuoyebang is an educational app designed to assist students with their academic studies. The app covers various subjects, including mathematics, science, languages, and more, catering to students from elementary school to high school. Zuoyebang offers features such as video lessons, practice exercises, interactive quizzes, and personalized learning recommendations. It aims to support students in their learning journey, providing them with convenient access to educational materials and guidance anytime, anywhere.
Zuoyebang’s hardware business leader, Li Xiling, explained at the press conference that the current participants in the study machine market can be divided into three categories: traditional learning hardware companies that excel in providing educational synchronous content and have clear channel advantages; 3C and consumer electronics companies that are good at offering study machines with excellent cost-effectiveness; and the third category is educational technology brands like Zuoyebang.
“We belong to the third category, and companies in this category consider how to make breakthroughs in learning effectiveness, how to ensure both learning outcomes and usability for children, and how to make the hardware, software, content, and AI of the study machine truly help students improve efficiency over a period of time.”
Li Xiling candidly admitted, “We have made a lot of adjustments.”
The discussion about study machine products began in 2019—the core question at the time was whether to develop a study machine or not. This discussion stemmed from two factors: 1) The company had already developed the Miaomiao device and started exploring smart hardware, which naturally led to discussions about more possibilities. 2) We found that our content had good activity and penetration rates on other branded study machines. Some manufacturers even approached us for collaboration, such as OEM partnerships using Zuoyebang’s content. These factors made us start considering whether to develop our own study machine
